Donor sharing: mother's love for children

"In 2018, my mother was diagnosed with cervical cancer. At the age of 81, she faced treatment with ease and no fear. She experienced different medical processes and finally found that doctor's care is the most effective medicine. Although my mother's cancer relapsed three years later, she spent every day with a smile, watching her great-grandson grow up day by day through virtual calls, and her children are the fountain of her happiness.

Soon, my mother passed away at home peacefully. Remembering that she loved children very much such that she forgot the pain and suffering. I thought, if she wants to support a group, she will choose the children who are facing cancer. Just in recent years, I got to know the LLWS. From the staff members, I felt their passion to support cancer children and their families. I decided to use this amount of money to support their work, continue my mom’s love for the children, and let these families receive strong support when they are in the most hesitation. "

Little Life Warrior Society ("LLWS") collects and uses your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Purpose

Your personal data is collected by LLWS for the purposes of:

1. Processing, administering and communicating with you regarding any donations made by you to LLWS;

2. conducting research and generating statistics to enhance LLWS’s services and activities;

3. communicating with you in response to any queries or complaints submitted by you or in relation to your donations;

4. informing you (subject to your consent) of campaigns, activities and fundraising appeals relating to LLWS’s programmes;

5. complying with applicable laws or regulations.

Transfer and Disclosure

LLWS shall only transfer and disclose your personal data to service providers (within or outside Hong Kong) of LLWS to enable them to send to you (subject to your consent) marketing materials described in paragraph 4 above solely on behalf of LLWS, and to provide back-end, administrative, communication, or IT services to LLWS (including but not limited to payment gateways for credit card processing, research companies for donor satisfaction surveys, and agents to make promotional and pledge donation calls on behalf of LLWS). LLWS does not provide your personal data to any third party for the purposes of enabling that third party to market its own products or services to you.
